Polaroid emulsion lifts are made with a meticulous process that involves separating the emulsion layer of a Polaroid and placing it on paper, wood or other surfaces.

During this process the very thin layer of emulsion can get injured, pierced or ripped adding interesting effects for the image or resulting in the emulsion getting damaged beyond repair.

Creating a Polaroid emulsion lift print requires a quiet place, a peaceful mind, patience and time. No prints will ever be the same.

I use the beautifully handmade, deckle edged Khadi cotton paper which is made from 100% long fibre cotton rag from T-shirt cuttings.

Each print is a one off and signed.
